Frequently Asked Questions

Who can play?

Any boy or girl between the age of 4 – 15 is eligible to play in the WYBA.

What is an evaluation?

An evaluation is a method by which the managers and coaches observe a player’s skills and are then able to determine their competitive level.

Is an evaluation mandatory?

We understand that there may be some circumstances that may prevent a player from attending an evaluation, however, it is in their best interest to attend at least one of the scheduled sessions.  If a player is absolutely unavailable to attend one of the scheduled sessions, please contact the WYBA to arrange for a make up.

What happens after evaluations?

Players will be selected to a team, and will be notified by their team manager about two weeks after the evaluation.  Any player that did not participate in an evaluation will be notified as soon as possible.
